This funny little book, How to Write a Crank Letter, was designed and produced as a memorial volume for and by the late Charles Isaacs, one of Hollywood’s most entertaining comedy writers of the 1940s and on, in the Golden Age of Television and Radio. Each letter opens with a charming and humorous illustration by actor Biff McGuire, complete with expletives and borrowing shamelessly from famous authors whose aphorisms are twisted to the letter’s needs.
